Job Description

Job Description

Peacock Partnership is seeking a talented and motivated Interior Designer to join our award-winning design studio. Our team specializes in healthcare design, creating thoughtful, high-performing environments that improve the experience of patients, families, caregivers, and communities.

We are collaborative studio where designers have the opportunity to engage in all phases of the design process—from early programming and concept development through documentation and construction administration. We value curiosity, creativity, design excellence, and a willingness to learn, and we encourage our team members to grow both as designers and as professionals.

The Opportunity

As an Interior Designer, you will contribute to projects across multiple phases of design while working closely with senior designers, architects, consultants, clients, and industry partners. You will have the opportunity to take meaningful ownership of your work, strengthen your technical and design skills, and contribute to projects that have a tangible impact on the people and communities they serve.

The ideal candidate brings strong design sensibility, excellent graphic and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset. Most importantly, we are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about design and excited to continue learning and growing within a dynamic healthcare design practice.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to projects throughout the design process, from programming and concept development through construction administration.
  • Develop and coordinate interior design and construction documents.
  • Prepare compelling client presentation materials, including 3D models, renderings, finish palettes, material boards, and design presentations.
  • Participate in the selection, specification, and presentation of furniture, fixtures, equipment (FF&E), fabrics, finishes, color palettes, lighting, and other interior elements.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, consultants, product representatives, furniture dealers, manufacturers, and fabricators.
  • Assist with project coordination, meeting documentation, and tracking of client decisions.
  • Communicate design ideas clearly through drawings, presentations, digital modeling, and verbal communication.
  • Work collaboratively with senior staff and project teams to develop thoughtful, innovative, and technically sound design solutions.
  • Contribute to the quality, organization, and timely delivery of project work.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design from an accredited program.
  • 5+ years of professional interior design experience.
  • Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, or ArchiCAD; Revit proficiency preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience in healthcare design is preferred.
  • Strong verbal, written, and graphic communication skills.
  • Ability to balance creativity, technical execution, organization, and time management.
  • A collaborative, positive approach to working with clients and multidisciplinary project teams.
  • A genuine enthusiasm for design excellence, problem-solving, and continued professional growth.

Grow With Us

At Peacock Partnership, we believe great design is the result of curiosity, collaboration, and a commitment to doing meaningful work well. Team members who demonstrate initiative, creativity, strong communication, thoughtful design thinking, technical excellence, and a commitment to client service will have opportunities to take on increasing responsibility and leadership as they grow with the firm.

If you are looking for a studio where you can contribute your ideas, learn from experienced designers and architects, and help create environments that make a difference, we would love to hear from you.
