Our client, an international law firm is seeking two Weekend Dispatchers for long-term temp positions.

• The is a long-term temp position.
• The pay rate is $22.50 per hour.
• Two shifts available, both are for Saturday and Sunday.
• 3pm- 10pm and 9pm – 6am.

Role Summary

The Overnight Dispatcher manages ground transportation reservations worldwide, primarily by email and phone, requiring clear writing and concise, professional phone etiquette. The role involves coordinating with multiple vendors, monitoring active reservations, troubleshooting service issues, and providing timely updates to internal teams and clients. The position requires strong multitasking, attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Consistent attendance and punctuality are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage ground transportation reservations worldwide, primarily via email and phone.
• Coordinate and monitor dispatch activities during overnight hours.
• Coordinate with multiple vendors daily.
• Monitor active reservations and troubleshoot service issues in real time.
• Provide timely updates and reporting of any issues to internal teams and clients.
• Maintain clear communication with relevant teams, internal and external clients.
• Collaborate effectively as part of a team while being capable of working independently.
• Be flexible and agreeable to work onsite for events when necessary.
• Demonstrate reliability, with punctuality being mandatory.

Required Qualifications

• Prior dispatch or related experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Strong multitasking abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable with consistent attendance and punctuality.
• Excellent geographical knowledge of the five boroughs, especially New York City.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
• Must be flexible and available to work onsite for events when necessary.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure, handle time-sensitive issues, and make sound decisions during overnight shifts.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with AI tools.
• Experience with Uber for Business.
• Experience booking event transportation
